The Solution
Acheron developed an AI-Powered Supplier Onboarding System that uses process orchestration to manage the workflow and AI to execute intelligent tasks.
Key Capabilities:
Intelligent Document Processing (IDP): AI models automatically ingest and validate supplier-submitted documents (ISO certifications, financial statements, etc.).
Smart Data Normalisation: Extracted data is structured into consistent formats, preparing it for seamless integration with downstream enterprise systems.
Dynamic Business Rules: A rules engine ensures process flexibility by applying specific, mandatory requirements defined by supplier type or geography.

How It Works
The system manages the end-to-end process flow automatically:
Initiation: A new supplier is qualified and enters the digital onboarding workflow, submitting required documents and data via a secure portal.
AI Document Intake: Camunda orchestrates the handoff to the IDP module, which extracts data and runs AI-based verification checks against regulatory lists and document integrity standards.
Rules & Risk Check: The workflow applies the Dynamic Rules Engine to check mandatory requirements.
Conditional Routing: If the risk score is low, the process proceeds to ERP synchronisation. If the risk is high or a document is flagged (e.g., a potential false positive), the workflow pauses and routes the item to the Human-in-the-Loop dashboard for manual approval.
Master Data Update: Once approved (either automatically or by a human), the verified, normalised data is pushed directly to the ERP/MDM systems.
Continuous Compliance: The supplier file enters a Continuous Monitoring loop where the system checks expiries and sanctions lists automatically.
